Went typing directly to the directory, deleted the .exe and .dat file found there and the directory name (Svchost). Don't think this is the cause of my problem though.. For IE8 and previous versions, most of the add-ons are not really useful for you unless you are a website developer. When I upgraded it placed it in my start up manager checked to start up, along with hkcmd.exe and igfxpers.exe do these need to be on in start up manager? Tuning Internet Explorer can make a difference in your Web surfing speed and overall computer usage, and you don't need any additional software to do it.
