I run Vista, and I tried using the Internet Explorer that came with Vista, but it was so cumbersome, and klutzy and overall difficult to use when compared to my other Option 3 worked for me too.My own IT people could not resolve the issue as you did!! The script did wonders! The best thing to do is just hang up on them. Neither IE8 or IE9 work. Then the options open.

What is New in IE8? Sites that rely on Flash or other add-ins will be broken, of course. I switch between IE 10 (the latest version) and Firefox. I have been trying all the fixes and regedits and tweaks for almost 2 week and nothing worked.
