The domain controller 10.aaa.xx.30 can ping the workstation B at 10.aaa.yy.13 when I RDC to it. what I did is move from an old DC to a new DC. I did noticed that I just had "mydomain" instead of "mydoamin.local" so I did change the DNS domain name in the DHCP settings scope options. Despite the error, the computer is still able to login to the domain ok. It is not joined the domain, yet. There are no firewalls running on either host.
If I ping just the server name from computer B c:\ping SERVERNAME i get this result: Pinging SERVERNAME [10.aaa.yy.30] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 18.104.22.168: (not my ip) Destination These are all things I normally do, so this is a good exercise, just very frustrating.
