Or maybe this problem is located within check_snmp ? Clone yourself! Sadly the plugin, or rather Windows needs longer than those 60 seconds to figure out whether or not it needs updating, thus Nagios is killing the plugin and returning a CRITICAL Like I said, the CRITICAL "service check timed out" error is NOT coming from the plugin itself, it's generated by something else.
